Meet Hannes, R&D Mechanical Engineer at Traxial

Meet Hannes, one of our R&D Mechanical Engineers shaping electric motor innovation. 🚀

What’s it like working as a mechanical engineer at Traxial?

As a mechanical engineer here in Traxial, my day consists mostly out of developing our motor. We also take part in innovation projects, assist in tooling design. We build test setups and no day is the same.

And that’s the nice thing –  as a young employee, you really get the opportunity to develop your skills and learn a lot.

What does it take to succeed in your role as Mechanical Engineer?

I think first of all, you need to be able to think outside the box. When developing a new product on the market, it’s very important to not follow the mainstream thoughts and mechanics, but sometimes come up with the crazy idea.

And then it’s very important to work very close together with your colleagues, because here we have a lot of skilled engineers, and if you work closely together, you achieve great things.

How does the team work together to achieve our goals?

When developing a high end innovative product like our motor, teamwork is very important. You have to align very closely with your team, with your colleagues to get your tasks done.

Luckily, here in Traxial, we can count on a lot of very skilled young people that come from different backgrounds, different nationalities and bring all their value.
