Traxial Attends HARMONY Project EU Consortium Meeting in Spain

Traxial, MAGNAX’s e-mobility subsidiary, recently attended the HARMONY Project EU consortium meeting in San Sebastian Spain, hosted by Ceit Research Center.

The meeting brought together 20+ European partners working to strengthen Europe’s rare earth magnet supply chain through innovative recycling technologies.

HARMONY’s main objective is to improve the recyclability of rare earth elements (REEs) from permanent magnets across all waste streams, including end-of-life wind turbines, electric motors, and other Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

“In HARMONY, we aim to demonstrate that end-of-life NdFeB magnets can be fully recycled and reused in new applications. In the automotive sector, where high-grade magnets are typically required, this remains a challenge — but additional solutions will emerge as more end-of-life magnets become available.” – Jérémy Garambois, Mechanical Design Engineer at Traxial

We’re achieving this through the development of a complete recycling process that covers the entire NdFeB magnets value chain.
